Madeleine Albert is an artist deeply rooted in the exploration of listening practices and bodily impulses through voice and performance practices. Her work focuses on exploring the immense wisdom and power of the feminine space. Practicing the here and now, she uses her physical sensations and intuitive impulses as a guide to navigate the unheard and unseen realms of the collective, giving a voice to repressed energies. The body lies in the center of her practice as a listener, guide and vessel, exploring unknown spaces, beyond rational consciousness.

 

After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Classical Voice in Canada at L’Universtié de Moncton and a master’s in Devised Theater and Performative Art in Berlin, her research led her to complete a 2-year certification in Integral Movement and Performance Practice at Arthaus.Berlin, Berlin, which focused on personal and artistic processes. During that time, she completed the intensive programme certificate in Unfold method - a methodology rooted in Alexander technique in movement. And finally, in 2026, she received her certification in Reiki level 1.​
